The French for Tourism and Hospitality Co-op program is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in tourism and to learn French. Students learn French through an extensive language program, complemented by workshops on French for Tourism and Hospitality. The student is also required to participate in an internship which provides hands-on experience.
The program equips the student with knowledge, skills and experience to work in the tourism and hospitality sector where French is an asset.

French courses follow international standards, which ensures its compatibility with internationally recognized exams such as the DELF, TCF and the TFI. The program also includes French for Tourism and Hospitality workshops specifically addressing French as spoken in the field of tourism and hospitality.
The paid internship, required as part of the program, provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable experience while putting into practice the skills learned in their classes. Students continue to develop their language skills in a francophone environment while gaining fiels.
The program is offered in three durations (24 weeks, 36 weeks or 48 weeks) and is divided in two stages: In stage 1, students follow French classes and workshops while they prepare for their internship through interviews and coaching with the Internship Coordinator. In stage 2, students continue to study while simultaneously working in their internship.
