Summer Adult French Workshops

June 20th to August 12th, 2011

Workshops offer an opportunity to practice and improve oral fluency through entertaining and diverse workshops. Workshops are pre-selected and participants can select a different workshop for every week.

Conversation Workshop - (10 hours per week)

• French Conversation workshops covers themes from day-to-day communications to others related to culture, current events, literature, cinema, music. These workshops always offer students with the opportunity to learn and express themselves... all in French, of course!

Conversation Workshop + (15 hours per week))

• Two hours of Conversation workshops plus one hour of semi-private classes every afternoon. The most intensive French course, suitable for students who need quick results in a short period of time.

Dramatic Arts - (15 hours per week)

• Practice acting and improvisation in French. You will work on pronunciation, vocabulary and fluency. Prepare short performances for the other students. Drama in French is awesome way to improve oral fluency!



Cuisine - (15 hours per week)

• Join French and Cooking to learn about Quebecois cuisine and its fusion with international influences. The cooking classes are held in the college’s professional cooking training center and taught by a well known local professional chef.

Photography - (15 hours per week - 2 weeks)

• The photography workshop addresses the theory of photo composition and technical issues relating to the operation of a digital camera. The program is offered in collaboration with Studio de formation en photographie de Québec.. Learn French in an active way through the art of imaging.

Music - (15 hours per week)

• Complement your French classes with music classes offered at the Conservatoire de musique et d’art dramatique du Québec. Classes available on most instruments and include private teaching, group classes and supervised practice.
